Past Fundraiser

Our first fundraiser took place on May, Friday 29th 2009 at the Chateau de Versailles. We were extremely delighted with the generous turn out who we proudly entertained throughout the evening with a host of performances showcasing the culture of India. The mood was set for a positive start to the Foundation's aspirations in India and across the world.

The RACH Foundation fundraiser is taking place to raise funds for its charitable objectives. The funds will support our various projects in different fields such as environment, economic development, cultural dialogue and education for disadvantaged students in India. Unfortunately, need, always outweighs the resources that are available. Therefore we are hoping to increase the size of our fund.

The fundraiser will be held in Dubai, U.A.E. on 25. March 2010. Our previous fundraiser was held at the Chateau de Versailles, France. Building on the momentum of the fundraiser which was attended by a large array of prominent royal and political dignitaries we consequently enhanced our credibility around the world by hosting a successful fundraiser.

The fundraiser is held under the royal patronage of H.R.H. Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein wife of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.

The fundraiser is hosting a gala dinner which will entertain its guests with a custom tailored fashion show displaying the latest creations of one of India's most talented designers, Mr. Manish Malhotra. This will be followed by a world class music and dance production from Mumbai under the artistic direction of Mr. Salman Ahmed Khan that will showcase the culture of India. In the light of the evening, we will be hosting our auction with a number of items donated by the regions corporate institutions as well as the public at large.
